GENDER VIEWS SELDOM OFFERED BY BIG MEDIA AND LEADING FEMINISTS

Because "Men Have the Power," Getting the Male Side Heard Is So Frustrating.

Men's Issues

THE TOPICS:

GENDER VIOLENCE

...It Makes Some Feminists Want a World Without Men...

...But what about women's violence? If feminists (and the media) don't take women's violence seriously, why should men take women's opinions seriously? After all, according to ideological feminists' own definition of hate crimes, violence is merely an opinion acted out, a view expressed by behavior.
"If one is to accept the basic principles of equality that feminism advances, then one must accept that women, like men, are capable of the entire range of human action and experience: from the summits of artistic creativity and human compassion, to the depths of debased violence and evil." --Adam Jones

Sexual Harassment

"With this I will manipulate your little male brain." But all power carries a price tag.

THE WORLD OF CHILDREN

As society vigorously promotes women's equality in the world of work, it generally impedes men's equality in the world of children.

THE WORLD OF WORK

As society impedes  men's equality in the world of children, it vigorously promotes women's equality in the world of work.

ARE THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA ENDING THEIR DECADES-OLD HELP TO IDEOLOGICAL FEMINISTS?

posted Sunday, 31 December 2006

For decades, ideological feminists such as those at the National Organization for Women and the Institute for Women's Policy Research have been enraged by their belief that females are oppressed because of our “sexist, patriarchal society.” Their rage has been based on their enduring claim that this oppression manifests itself in three ways:

1. Women are remunerated less than men for the same work.

2. Women suffer from poorer health than men.

3. Women endure more violence than men, domestic and general.

Feminists' rage over these oppressions has been fueled by the mainstream media's generally unflinching help in reporting on the oppressions.

This rage may now become more fueled than ever before. But it's not because feminists are discovering women's oppressions to be worse or more numerous than thought. And it's not because the mainstream media are ratcheting up their reporting on women's oppressions. Rather, it's because some flagship outlets of the mainstream media appear to be bringing their help to ideological feminists to an end. In fact, they may be trending toward an actual reversal of feminists' belief that women are oppressed: increasingly they are reporting that “our sexist, patriarchal society” affects women no more adversely than it does men and sometimes less.

Consider the following reports that address the three "oppressions":

To address “Women are remunerated less than men for the same work:

The New York Times: Exploiting the Gender Gap

MSNBC: Secret lives of breadwinner wives

Forbes Magazine: Are Women Earning More Than Men?

PBS Television:
Women Control 51% of Wealth

Philadelphia Inquirer:
Women's Job Choices

To address “Women suffer from poorer health than men.”

The New York Times: Health Disparities Persist for Men, and Doctors Ask Why

Parade Magazine: Men continue to be vulnerable to heart disease

The New York Times: The Weaker Sex Part I

The New York Times: The Weaker Sex Part II

To address “Women endure more violence than men, domestic and general.”

Boston Globe: Feminist Dogma on Partner Abuse

Fox News: 'Take Back the Night' For Men

ABC News: Turning the Tables

Fox News: Segregating Children From Men

Gallup Poll: Women Feel Safer Than Men

BBC News: More than half of surveyed women said they approve of wives hitting husbands

Associated Press:
Young Women More Violent

Chicago Tribune: The Truth About Rape Stats

After reading these items, you may agree: Feminist groups such as the National Organization for Women and the Institute for Women's Policy Research (see “Response To Feminist Group” [doc]) may soon start to disband because of increasing irrelevancy and embarrassment.

(This is a Male Matters item that I recommend you send to editors and columnists.)

What can I say, except that for decades something did not feel right about the claims made by feminists.

Thomas Ellis felt that there was something bogus about it as well.

Maybe one day we can celebrate the DEATH of feminism, maybe have a big bonfire and burn the effigies of feminists at the stake.

Perhaps a guillotine or maybe the Russians might be bribed into opening their gulags again.

Maybe a one way ticket to the moon with no outside male help will do and let them survive by themselves.

I think there is a similar effect in the UK media. Also it appears that some feminists and their lackies are getting more aggressive and illogical in there pronouncements because they see the agenda slipping away from them and therefore throw academic wobblies. Poor bints. The 'guy in the street' is getting more aware of the issues. Still the media esp. the BBC are hopelessly pro feminist. I am trying to get my local swimming pool to face up to their pathetic women only sessions.

You said it bro! I was wondering if anybody would dare say it. Look, why should men fight and die in wars to enable the feminasties to sit on their throne? Without male support, women would fall prey to Latino or even Muslim type cultures.

Picture this...what if they threw a war and nobody came? Just imagine the spoiled rotten despicable feminasties being put in their place by a patricarcial society like Latinos or Muslims! Wow, what a picture!

Miserable unloved spat upon men, betrayed by the women that they love more than anything, have little spirit to fight to keep these women on their thrones.

Of course I am not advocating this, just making the point that western women stand to loose EVERYTHING if they don't watch out.

Cannot say I have noticed media not supporting feminists in UK. We have not got television; we have got femmyvision, all action female heroes making men look stupid; all newspapers providing bitching platforms for females.

ladies and Gentlemen,

Hi,

I am happy to see feminism losing support. It seems, as of late, that feminism is losing support among women. Women who realize that feminism is about abortion and gay marriage. Things a healthy society should not suffer!!!!

120,000/3,000 abortions in the World and America alone should be enough to make one sick!

I remind you fine folks that in America 85% of criminals come from single mother households.

75% of single mothers live below the poverty line.

85% of divorces filed are filed by women. Only .0237% of men are abusive, women are in rebellion against humanity and this country!

Hi Piers Birnbeck, can't say I disagree with you about the UK's hysterical femmyvision, though maybe we could call it fannyvision !

Some people in the MRM think that feminism is on its way out. Don't be too quick to say feminism is diminishing. It lives, evolves, digs into society like a worm, a virus. It has distorted our laws, subborned the legal and ploitical professions, education, the media, even our language. If no woman claimed to be a feminist for the next 50 years we would still be left with all the males and children suffering oppression and broken families.

We will be able to say feminism is dead when all the laws of the past 50 years that have so damaged society are reversed, compensation given to the predominantly male victims and retribution meeted out to the femonazis and their running-dogs.
