Would New York magazine do this to a female politician who got caught cavorting with a prostitute? My money says no. The magazine would probably defend her and speculate that her husband — the cad — had driven her into the arms of desperation. (Meanwhile, as ex-Gov. Spitzer's career goes down in flames, his prostitute, Ashley Alexander Dupre ("Kristen"), is seeing a meteoric rise in hers. She's not only well paid but now famous beyond her wildest dream. And feminists would say she is the victim.) 

Ideological feminists have long complained about men denying women full participation in the world of work and often going to extremes to do so. Yet they say nothing about women denying men full participation in the world of children and also often going to extremes to do so. (Their one-sidedness, of course, seeks to plant the idea that only women are disenfranchised.) Here, though, is still another example of a woman going to extremes to deny a man participation in the world of children:

“A years-long custody battle that led to phony death threats, an impersonation of a psychologist and the abduction of a 7-year-old son has finally ended in perjury convictions for the boy's plotting mother, stepfather and step-grandfather. Bambi Vogele-Schulman, 36, and her current husband, David Eaton-Schulman, 33, both of Pawnee, Okla., pleaded no contest last week to two felonies: conspiracy to obstruct justice and welfare fraud. Their convictions trace back to Vogele-Schulman's 1994 divorce from Ed Heffelfinger, 46, of Redding, who later wrongly served 21 days in Shasta County Jail because of his ex-wife's false claims. The schemes against Heffelfinger spanned five years, all in a futile effort to deny him custody and visitation of his and Vogele-Schulman's son, Christopher.” [Emphasis by Male Matters] More...

And another member of the “nurturing, compassionate, peace-making” sex defies the ideological feminist stereotype: In the National Geographic channel's March 11 “Final Report,” which chronicled the 1960s' Kent State shootings by the military, an old black-and-white film clip from the time included an interview of a young woman who said of the shootings, “They [the military which was called in to quell the potential rioting] should have killed more of them [the students].” Such is why I wrote "Would the World be Better Off If Women Ran It?"

Women's health advocates, the American Heart Association, the media, and virtually every other institution in America have convinced me that heart disease hits women much, much harder than it hits men. According to such feminist groups as WomenHeart.org, more women than men have less chance of surviving a heart attack, more survivors are debilitated, and in the end more women than men die of heart disease, Therefore, because women face such a dire risk of heart disease , as well as a higher risk of poorer health in general (due also to the breast cancer epidemic), I cannot in good conscience vote for Hillary Clinton. Although she is a decade younger than John McCain, would she be, according to women's advocates, far more likely to die in office of a heart attack or suffer enfeeblement? Ideological feminists (“radical” feminists) are not the real enemy of true gender equality; they have a perfect right to express their beliefs, however sexist their beliefs may be. No. The real enemy of true gender equality is the media's thousands of writers, editors, and managers who are trained to provide balance but when reporting on gender issues give space only to the ideological feminists.

And more members of the “nurturing, compassionate, never-violent” sex defy the ideological feminist stereotype (and an unconstitutional Violence Against Women Act was passed in the U.S. to protect them!): “Two elderly women accused of killing two transient men with a car so they could collect nearly $3 million in insurance money were videotaped talking about the scheme while in FBI custody. ...[T]he women befriended the two men and took out insurance policies on their lives, then drugged them and ran them over to make it look as if the two homeless men had been killed in hit-and-run accidents ” More.... Question: how many other men have been killed by women who arranged such accidents and were never caught?
